The first open-source release includes the self-hosted web console, REST API, background worker, PostgreSQL metadata store, Redis queue, and Typesense integration.
- Workspace and project access with owner, admin, editor, and viewer roles.
- Bundled or external Typesense connections, collections, Search Studio, presets, and project-scoped public search keys.
- Encrypted file and PostgreSQL ingestion with durable jobs, checkpoints, retries, cancellation, and reconciliation.
- Versioned relational projections with validation, preview, snapshot publishing, and guarded hard-delete reconciliation.
- Aggregate search analytics, audit history, backup/restore, encryption-key rotation, and security gates.
Known limits
- Production guidance targets a self-hosted, single-machine Compose deployment.
- Hard deletes require reconciliation when no supported soft-delete field exists.
- Raw query text and top-query analytics are intentionally not stored.
- Oryxsol does not distribute modified Typesense or Redis images in the 0.1.x source release.
