Import JSONL files

Indexlume supports newline-delimited JSON uploads for mapped collections. The default maximum upload size is 25 MB.

1. Create the target collection mapping.
2. Open Data Sources and choose Add data source.
3. Select the file upload path and choose a .jsonl file containing one JSON object per line.
4. Preview records and resolve field/type mismatches.
5. Start the import.
6. Monitor Indexing Jobs for processed, failed, and total counts.

Staged files are encrypted and stored on the upload volume. Jobs batch documents by configured count and byte limits. Failed records can be inspected and retried. Running jobs can be cancelled at checkpoint-safe boundaries.

Do not upload credentials or fields that should not be indexed. The deployment owner controls upload-volume access and retention.
